NHS Kirklees hosted an awards presentation at the Dewsbury Rams Stadium on Wednesday, 5 November 2008 to celebrate the success of support staff who have achieved NVQs this year through partnership working with Kirklees College and Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trust.

Michael Holgate, Lifelong Learning Manager for NHS Yorkshire & Humber, gave an inspiring speech. He acknowledged the hard work involved by staff to achieve their awards, the benefits education and training brings to individuals, their families and others within the organisation.

Liz Butterfield, Head of Knowledge & Learning, NHS Kirklees, said “We recognise the biggest, most important asset in our organisation is our staff and we are delighted that during 2007/8 so many staff achieved their qualifications.”

Kay Fussey, Employer Liaison Co-ordinator, Kirklees College: Dewsbury Centre and Liz Butterfield presented staff with their certificates.
