This one-day training session using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat will show you how to potentially convert any electronic document into an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF has gained huge popularity as a way to share documents on the web and is the most reliable, efficient way to share information across platforms and applications, due to its capability of allowing all layout, fonts, links and images to remain intact.
A company can potentially be semi-paperless using the PDF format and thus increase productivity by approving and commenting on documents from within a standard Web browser running the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. PDF is also becoming a useful format for the commercial print industry. The PDF file is relatively small compared to the original and can be password protected against any changes.
A basic knowledge of computers and operating systems, with some Internet/Web experience would be an advantage, although not essential.
