What will you learn?
This two-day training session will introduce you to the latest version of the industry standard application for photo retouching and image manipulation. You will acquire an insight into the benefits of using the program, learn to manipulate, correct colour balance and save in appropriate resolutions. Saved files can then be either printed or transferred into a desktop publishing or web design application.
What previous experience will you need?
Some experience in the use of computers and operating systems would be an advantage.
What will the session include?
Familiarisation of the work area and navigation tools
Working
with selections
Use of layers and layer styles
Flattening files
Using masks and channels
Extracting objects from their background
Photo retouching
Working with filters
Resolution and image size
Saving images for printing
This course complements our Scanning and Calibration course and vice versa.
