What will you learn?

This bespoke course provides a deeper understanding of Dreamweaver, Adobe’s industry standard web design and HTML editor software, and how it can be used with associated technologies. The trainers will allow themselves to be put on the spot to answer any technical questions that arise and demonstrate solutions to specific areas of web design that clients feel they need help with.

Clients will know what they want to achieve with their own web sites and the trainers will be able to help build their web site, while at the same time demonstrating how it is done.

What previous experience will you need?

You will ideally need previous experience of Dreamweaver, preferably the two day Adobe Dreamweaver course. You will also need an idea of what you would like to specifically achieve for your own website. You will need to bring any images and text you would like to use on your site, preferably saved electronically.

• Taking control of your website.
• Designing and building a new website.
• Joining the e-commerce revolution.
• Opening up your website with a content management system.
• Optimising your website for more search engine hits.
• Producing effective email campaigns.
• Help to set up a host and register a domain name
• Using Fireworks to create and optimise images
• Creating working forms using cgi or php scripts
• Adding basic database interactivity using php and MySQL
